Leon was an American musician and songwriter that was involved with numerous bestselling records during his 60 year career.  He won 2 Grammy Awards and was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.  He wrote Delta Lady and A Song For You.  Leon passed away in 2016.  Elton John considered him a mentor and an inspiration.
