Spencer changed the game of basketball.  He left college after his sophomore season of college and was drafted by the Buffalo Braves (an ABA team).  He made the US Mens Olympic team at 19 years old!  He played for Denver, Seattle, New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Washington.  He averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds for his career and is in the Hall of Fame.
