Joe is a Minnesota Legend.  He was a 3 sport star in high school at Cretin-Derham Hall and almost went to Florida State to play football.  He opted to play baseball and was drafted 1st in the 2001 MLB Draft by the Twins.  He won 3 Batting Titles and is the best contact hitting catcher of all time.  He played his entire career in MN and won the MVP in 2009.  He ended his career with 2,123 Hits and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.
